SECURITY SYSTEM'S BRAIN
Modern digital security systems are the source of a huge amount of data, which, in order to achieve an appropriate level of security, should be analyzed on an ongoing basis. On the other hand availability of specialists in digital security management is very limited. Clash of these two facts makes it necessary to use advanced security management systems, which automate analysis of data collected from security subsystems through, among others:
- logging mechanisms
- correlation
- behavioral analyses
- machine learning
- use of knowledge available in the cloud
What seems to be a completely new challenge now, is the protection of resources located in the cloud, far from our classic security systems. But we can deal with this problem as well. Solutions such as SOAR (Security Orchestration and Response) and CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) allow us to build security systems suitable for protecting resources located in the cloud and available in e.g. SaaS or PaaS models.
