Equipping streetcars in Olsztyn

As a result of the tender procedure for the supply of streetcars to Olsztyn, which was settled in July 2019, a contract was signed between the Municipality of Olsztyn and the Turkish company Durmazlar.

Streetcars in Olsztyn

Within the signed contract, Durmazlar from Turkey will deliver 12 streetcars to Olsztyn. The contract also guarantees the possibility of ordering another 12 trams within the option agreement.

The implementation can be divided into at least several stages.


STAGE ONE

is to support the partial design of the vehicle in terms of the supplied equipment, the final selection of the equipment and the specifying full functionality for all systems.

STAGE TWO

is to complete the equipment, prepare it for shipment and deliver it for the first two vehicles produced.

STAGE THREE

is the engineering support provided at the manufacturer's site in Bursa, where our engineers, together with the engineers of equipment parts manufacturers, will provide assistance during assembly, carry out electrical start-ups and verify the correctness of operation. In addition, during the works, the trainings in the scope of assembly and start-ups will be conducted for the next vehicles.

 

THE FOLLOWING SYSTEMS WILL BE DELIVERED AND COMMISSIONED UNDER THE CONTRACT:

transport management system, including, among others, autocomputers
passenger information system, including internal and external passenger information boards
payment system, consisting of ticket machines and ticket punchers
vehicle monitoring system, both inside and outside
transmission system inside the vehicle, communication with the depot and WiFi
passenger counting system
side mirror system
