Public infrastructure maintenance
IN THE CITY OF WARSAW
The scope of work was divided by the contracting officer into two primary activities:
- Maintenance of the entire infrastructure, including almost 400 intersections with traffic lights, encompassing in particular:
- operation;
- maintenance;
- providing 24/7 emergency services for traffic lights.
- Additional work, consisting in particular of:
- removing infrastructure failures;
- adapting intersections to the ordering party's requirements;
- replacing worn-out traffic lights.
CHALLENGES
The primary implementation challenge is the complexity of this contract. There are as many as 8 different types of controllers in the service area, several types of push buttons at pedestrian crossings, loop detectors, magnetic detectors, and various models of video detection and surveillance cameras or detection (both video and thermal) of pedestrians and cyclists.
It should also be mentioned that the infrastructure maintenance/maintenance service is provided 24/7. During peak hours, even several service teams can work simultaneously.

Sectional Speed Measurement
Sprint has signed an agreement with the General Inspectorate of Road Transport (GITD) for the maintenance of devices recording average speed on a specific road section.
Average speed measurement systems on the S8 road section in Warsaw
Sprint will supply and install the systems, consisting of an ANPR camera system with devices that allow verification of both vehicle and driver parameters even at night.
Expansion of Intelligent Transport Systems in Bielsko-Biała
This is our next project in this city. As a reminder, in August 2018, the first stage of building the Intelligent Transportation System was completed.
Intelligent Transport Systems in Opole
New investment in Opole. On January 10, 2020, the city authorities and Sprint representatives signed a contract for the construction of an Intelligent Transport System (ITS).
Sprint will equip Olsztyn trams from Turkish manufacturer
Sprint, under the contract signed with Durmazlar, will provide comprehensive equipment for trams, as well as support in the field of installation and start-up.
