New Turkish streetcars already carrying passengers in Olsztyn

Sprint has fully equipped the new Olsztyn streetcars from Turkish manufacturer Durmazlar, and provided installation and start-up support for the following systems:

  • transportation management system, including auto-computers;
  • passenger information system, including passenger information boards, both internal and external;
  • payment processing system consisting of ticketing machines and ticket punchers;
  • vehicle monitoring system;
  • in-vehicle transmission system, communication with the depot, and Wi-Fi;
  • passenger counting system;
  • side mirror system.

Sprint launched the most modern speed camera in Poland
On 16th March Sprint handed over to the General Inspectorate of Road Transport (GITD) the most modern speed camera in Poland, which was installed in Egiertów (Kartuzy poviat, Pomeranian Voivodeship) on the road DK20.
Speed section measurement in the tunnel under the Swina River
The city signed the agreement with the contractor for the project on 24 March. Sprint will design, supply, and install a stationary average speed recording device system in the tunnel under the Swina River on a specific section of the DK93 road.
