Expanding the National Single Window System

Under the contract signed with the Maritime Office in Gdynia, we will design and implement a functional modification of the existing National Single Window (NSW) system to enable shipowners, shipmasters or their representatives to fulfil reporting obligations in accordance with current regulations.

The enhanced NSW:

  • will include the functionality of the control and information system for Polish Ports and the National Single Window;
  • will be an electronic platform connecting the National SafeSeaNet System, electronic customs administration system and other data recipient systems with electronic systems used for transmitting information by the shipowner or shipmaster or their representatives, in accordance with relevant articles of the Maritime Safety Act.

Moreover, the NSW system currently in use was developed by Sprint in 2016, and was an expansion of the maritime declaration data acquisition channel to include a channel that allows system-to-system communication, bypassing the manual declaration addition process.
