Sprint is the originator and founder of this award, given every year during the National Symposium on Telecommunications and ICT.

This prestigious award is given to outstanding personalities in the telecommunications & ICT industry, with a successful track record in the field of science or management. The statuette is a sign of recognition for activity which has an immense impact on the dynamic development of the ICT industry in Poland.
 

The 2021 Golden Cyborgs were awarded to:

1. Andrzej Kozłowski - President of the Management Board of Emitel S.A.

"For his contribution to the development of radiofusion and radiotelecommunications services in Poland, and innovative implementations in the area of smart cities."

2. Henryk Baniowski - Managing Director of IT at Alior Bank S.A.

"For the creation and effective management of IT structures of Alior Bank, designing technological solutions for innovative projects: paperless bank, automatic credit processes, virtual bank SYNC, and efficient implementation of a number of technological mergers."

3. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Szczypiorski - University Professor, Institute of Telecommunications, Warsaw University of Technology

"For outstanding contributions to the development of networked ICT security, in particular pioneering work related to network steganography."
